Destiny Project: We participated in requirements gathering, prototyping and delivery of a distributed OO system implemented in Forte. This project involved development of underwriting systems for portfolio, individual risk, claims processing and conversions by using Lynx (CSC's Forte framework for high volume OLTP. We also provided interface to legacy PICK system. In an engagement that spanned over seven man-years, our consultants have played key roles like team lead and architect.
Kaidale Consultants participated in Business Analysis, Architecture, Design and Development on a Call Centre application migration and augmention effort from Legacy platforms on to Unix J2EE using Rational Unifiied Process and J2EE toolset.
Our consultants were responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of a persistence framework, which handled all database specific operations. The application was developed in Forte. We were also involved in the specification and development of a CTI (Computer Telephony Interface) product, which integrated with the core application.
Our consultants were involved in the design and development of a portion of the SunLink Product being developed by Sun Life of Canada, U.S Operations. The application was developed in Forte and uses CSC's Lynx Framework.
Thomson Vision is Thomson Financial's popular client-server product for global banks, treasury and trading operations. It operates on all the leading databases. Our consultants optimized the application and tuned the database to improve performance and scalability. The result is that the product is now being marketed to larger banks.
Our consultants were involved in the development and support of customizable product suites for insurance. Forte Integrated Environment, Forte Web Enterprise and design tool Rational Rose were utilized to develop this application. Our consultants were also involved in the VINS application architecture project; VINS is a highly scalable, fault tolerant and object oriented internet based insurance application. Its aim is to analyze, design and develop common insurance objects and patterns that other line of business specific insurance applications can use.
Our consultants have provided mentoring and architectural support for internet and distributed applications at State Street. Projects mentored include a web based reporting application using Crystal Reports and Forte Web SDK for the Corporate Trust division at State Street. We were also involved in the development of a Global Order Management and Trading System for the Foreign Exchange division at State Street. This was a Java based client-server application using Voyager/Visibroker, Java and Forte.
An important prototyping effort was undertaken by our consultants to build a Global Securities Lending system that was developed in Forte. It included object modeling and development of long persistent transactions (production workflow), legacy integration and object history/life cycle.
Consultants from KaiDale worked on a turnkey application development project called "Wholesaler Direct Connect". This application allows property managers and wholesalers to access a hotels inventory system through the internet and facilitates effective implementation of business functions like authentication, allocation, re-allocation, availability, booking, modification and cancellation.
Another key application that was built by KaiDale for Starwood was Star Guest Response. This was built within 4 months and has now been rolled out at all the Sheratons to facilitate the "Sheraton Promise" business initiative. This application was a very successful one and has been rated by InfoWorld as one of the top 100 Innovative applications built in 2002.
KaiDale was also involved in the development of MPAR, a revenue Management system and the integration of Global Conference B-There to StarGuest using web services and XML messaging.
Our consultant worked as an application architect for a data-warehouse conversion/feed effort. He was involved in the design of high performance parallel OO systems on a SMP UNIX box using C++ and Oracle.
Silico Insights is a data-mining product and services company that is developing products to help drug companies analyze drug research, testing, marketing and administration data. KaiDale consultants designed and developed the primary multi-user enterprise product for Silico Insights. The software was developed in Java using the J2EE standards for enterprise applications. It was successfully deployed on the BEA Weblogic Application Server and has now been migrated to IBM's WebSphere.
Ardais is a clinical genomic company. KaiDale built a license application system that facilitated a PDF based document workflow system. This system includes dynamic document generation after data has been gathered and supporting a draft watermark for verification and also supports the ability to not edit the document once it is submitted by the licensee.

Mileage Project: Our consultant was responsible for design and development of various system enhancements, providing day to day support including scheduling and running various large scale batch engine jobs using Forte. He was also involved in enhancing existing crystal reports to provide reporting functionality for all deployment related tasks and also made improvements to the SAP interface (IDOC Format) from the Forte front-end.
Our Consultants developed a customized payroll application for the various offices of SANA. They provided links to Oracle Financials, HRMS and AR in the corporate office. Tools employed were Designer 2000, Developer 2000, forms/reports for the Oracle 8 database running on Sun Solaris.
Our consultants developed a Customer and Account Management System to automate the process of new-user registration via the Internet and automated management of billing/accounting procedures. They were involved in the design, development, implementation and testing of the application. This application uses Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as the backend and ASP as the client interface in the web environment.
